Sunrisers Hyderabad takes on the struggling Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in the single match on Tuesday. SRH have played five matches so far. After winning the first three matches, SRH has lost two on the trot while Mumbai Indians are struggling to get a win. The defending champions will be desperate for a win.

Here is how the probable XI shape up for the match

Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH
Sunrisers Hyderabad

After winning three matches on the trot, Hyderabad has lost two consecutive matches. The pattern has been the same. The formula to beat SRH has been – if you are batting first, score above 160. Without Dhawan, their batting has not shown the firepower to overhaul such a big total.

In the last match against Chennai, they had started extremely well by keeping CSK below the lowest powerplay score. But SRH lost the plot after that as Rayudu and Raina excelled. The total, in the end, proved beyond SRH even with Williamson and Pathan.

SRH had Ricky Bhui opening the innings in the absence of Shikhar Dhawan. They also brought back Billy Stanlake in place of Chris Jordan. A straight swap if Dhawan is fit. If not then Alex Hales might play with Sandeep Sharma/Thampi/Natarajan replacing Stanlake.

Playing XI –

Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson (c), Shikhar Dhawan/Alex Hales, Deepak Hooda, Billy Stanlake/Sandeep Sharma, Rashid Khan

Mumbai Indians

The high profile team has not looked out of sorts but they have lost all their matches in the last over or the last ball. They have failed to grab the key moments and thus find themselves at the bottom of the points table.

Suryakumar Yadav

The Batting has been led by Mumbai boy Surya Kumar Yadav. West Indian Evin Lewis has also been brilliant in patches. Rest of the batting needs to be consistent though. The late order has also failed frequently. Mayank Markande’s magic also seems to be fading.

Mumbai have lost four matches and that commands a few changes in personnel. With Mumbai, we may not see plenty of changes but still few are likely in this match. Hard to predict.

Playing XI –

Rohit Sharma (c), Kieron Pollard, Mitchell McClenaghan, Suryakumar Yadav, Evin Lewis, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Mustafizur Rahman, Ishan Kishan (wk), Krunal Pandya, Mayank Markande
