5. Shreyas Iyer (DD)

The most shocking announcement of the IPL so far came from the camp of Delhi Daredevils. It’s loved home boy Gautam Gambhir stepped down from the position of Captain in the aftermath of the consistent poor team performances. DD installed Shreyas Iyer as their new captain. The move will be interesting as Iyer lacks the experience at the top level. He has captained teams briefly but not at the IPL level. the 23-year old has played 38 IPL games so far with 958 runs and 8 fifties.
