K Gowtham (RR)

The story of the off-spin all-rounder from Karnataka is very interesting. The 29-year old was contracted by Mumbai Indians in the last year of the IPL. He was made to warm the bench throughout the season and did not play even a single match for Mumbai. In the last match, K Gowtham came out to bat against his old franchise. RR needed 42 runs from 18 balls and had lost three quick wickets. KG slammed an 11-ball 33* to knock Mumbai out of the match. Now the next step for him will be to be consistent with his performances.
