The Last time they met

These two teams, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, first battled against each other in their very first match in the IPL 2018. The match was played on 9th April and at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium.

Bowling first, team SRH bowling was on spot and did not let any RR batsman dominate them. Sanju Samson scored a 42-ball 49 to take the team score to a respectable 125/9. Siddarth Kaul bowled his four overs for 17 runs and took two wickets.

The chase for SRH was handled by Shikhar Dhawan. After an early reprieve from Ajinkya Rahane, Dhawan continued on his merry way to score 77 from 57 balls and Williamson supported him throughout. SRH won the match by 9 wickets.
