The team that includes two geniuses in Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers is finding out its own ways to lose matches. In the last match at home, they were soundly beaten by Dhoni magic as the yellow army chased 200-plus total against them. Kolkata Knight Riders also come from a disappointing loss at the hands of Delhi Daredevils. Now they travel down south to face another away match.

Here is how the probable XI  Fantasy shape up

Kolkata Knight Riders –

The East Indian team had an extended break of five days. The break cost the team as they squared off against rejuvenated Delhi Daredevils playing under a new leadership. KKR fielding first was battered first by Prithvi Shaw and then Shreyas Iyer dished out further punishment.

KKR

The chase of 219 was never going to easy and they needed Lynn and Narine to fire early. Narine looked ready but Lynn was bowled by Maxwell. KKR then lost wickets in heap and with Russell struggling there was no hope in the match.

In the last match, Kolkata made only one change as they swapped Tom Curran with Mitchell Johnson. They may reverse it this time around. Also a look Prasidh Krishna in place of Mavi may do well.

Playing XI –

Dinesh Karthik (c & wk), Piyush Chawla, Mitchell Johnson/Tom Curran, Robin Uthappa, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Chris Lynn, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Shivam Mavi/Prasidh Krishna

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Kolkata Knight Riders do not have the men for replacing the players that are failing whilst RCB face the exact opposite problem. They have so many options to play with that they have confused themselves with whom to play and whom not.

The deadly combo of RCB

In the last match against Chennai, MSD played around the options the Virat and perfectly targeted the weak spots. Corey Anderson bowling the last over had no confidence in himself whatsoever when he confronted MSD. Virat’s bowler management needs to be improved.

In the last match, RCB brought in Pawan Negi and Colin De Grandhomme to replace Manan Vohra and Chris Woakes. In a bid to strengthen the bowling they may bring in Chris Woakes and Tim Southee. Parthiv Patel at the top will also help RCB.

Playing XI

AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli (c), Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Colin de Grandhomme/Chris Woakes, Pawan Negi/Parthiv Patel, Quinton de Kock (wk), Corey Anderson/Tim Southee, Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar
