2. Yuzvendra Chahal (RCB)

Yuzvendra Chahal was retained by the Bangalore based franchise during the IPL players’ auction 2018. However, he hasn’t disappointed his captain Virat Kohli in the season so far by picking 7 wickets in as many games with an economy of under 8. Even in the last game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he conceded just 29 runs in his quota of 4 overs but couldn’t manage to get a wicket. However, in his first over the catch of Chris Lynn was dropped by M Ashwin and the batsmen then went on to make 62 runs in the match and took KKR over the line without giving away his wicket.
