Two high-profile teams which have been battered by the other teams in this season are Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. The defending champions Mumbai Indians have struggled again to start off well and found themselves in a desperate situation. Hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore are in the same boat and a loss will kill their composure. Two teams striving for survival will fight against each other at the Chinnaswamy stadium on 1st May.

Here are the five things to look out for

RCB Team combinations

Pre-season the Bangalore team was praised for having a very balanced attack. This year, they tried to cover the usual weakness of bowling and brought a whole set of bowlers from Kolkata Knight Riders. The move has still not paid off as RCB are struggling with the ball.

One of the main reasons for the losses so far has been poor team selection policy. RCB team entrusted Corey Anderson despite Colin De Grandhomme in the team. Anderson has not played a lot and lacks match practice. Also playing two very similar all-rounders limited RCB.

In the last match, they dropped Anderson and brought in Tim Southee. With ABD becoming fit they will have to drop McCullum again. They haven’t made the best use of Colin De Grandhomme so far. It will be interesting to see if they try and get in Parthiv Patel to open.
