On Friday night, Mumbai Indians (MI) beat the hosts Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 6-wicket (with 6 balls to spare) at Holkar Cricket Stadium (Indore).

Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma sent the hosts bat first after winning the toss. KXIP was restricted on 174/6 at the end of 20 overs while MI successfully chased down that target in 19 overs after losing their top four wickets.
