K Gowtham (RR)

The story of the off-spin all-rounder from Karnataka is very interesting. The 29-year old was contracted by Mumbai Indians in the last year of the IPL. He was made to warm the bench throughout the season and did not play even a single match for Mumbai. In the match against Mumbai, Gowtham came out to bat against his old franchise. RR needed 42 runs from 18 balls and had lost three quick wickets. KG slammed an 11-ball 33* to knock Mumbai out of the match. Since then he has not managed to bat in the same vein and has taken two wickets in the two matches.
