The two teams that are yet to play against each other in the Indian Premier League 2018 are Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. Two high-profile teams will engage in their first battle of the season at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Mumbai needs to win each match while Kolkata cannot afford to lose either. Here is how the playing XI shape up

KKR

KKR is on the third spot in the IPL points tally. Of the nine matches that they have played so far, Kolkata has managed to win five and have lost four. With the competition at the top getting denser, Kolkata will push themselves in the away match.

Kolkata has gotten a little winning streak going for them, they have managed to win their last two matches. Owing to the brilliant half-century from Gill and economical bowling from Narine, KKR defeated Chennai in the last match.

Nitish Rana if fit will come into the team. Rinku Singh played in his place for the last match. Tom Curran will replace Mitchell Johnson.

With the so many early losses, Mumbai Indians need to win every match from here on in the tournament. They will be pushing hard with the star-studded team they have and that they are the defending champions.

In the last match, they brought back Evin Lewis in the place of Kieron Pollard. With the win in the last match, Mumbai is likely to continue with the winning combination.
