Axar Patel

A retention that has failed miserably for Kings XI Punjab. The left-arm all-rounder played in the first two matches for Punjab and was clobbered by the batsmen. he was brought back into the side in the last match.

In the match against Mumbai Indians at the Holkar Stadium, Indore, Axar Patel managed to score only 13 runs from 12 balls and bowled only one over which went for 9 runs. Whether KXIP will persist him or not remains to be seen.
