On Sunday night, the hosts Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) clinched an important 6-wicket victory (with 8 balls to spare) against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Holkar Cricket Stadium (Indore).

KXIP captain Ravichandran Ashwin sent Rajasthan to bat first after winning the toss. As their most batsmen were struggling, RR only managed to put 152 on the board after losing 9 wickets at the end of 20 overs.

In reply, KL Rahul guided safely for the victory as KXIP chased down the target successfully in 18.4 overs after losing 4 wickets.
