2. Alex Hales (SRH)

The English opener Alex Hales surprised the world with the announcement of him not playing first-class cricket for England in order to concentrate on white-ball cricket. When he went unsold at the auction, he must have felt disappointed. Soon SRH lost David Warner and they chose Hales as the replacement. Initially, Hales had to sit out from the team as SRH tried with the Dhawan-Saha and Dhawan-Williamson opening combination. But they had to pick Alex Hales. In the two matches that he has batted, he has 45 both the times and at a brisk rate too.
