Royal Challengers Bangalore need to win every match from now on to keep themselves alive in the playoffs race. The greatest roadblock for RCB on that path will be two matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH has been one of the finest team in the tournament and is winning the matches on their bowling might. RCB now travels to the fortress of SRH in the hope to defeat them at the home. Here is how the probable XI shape up.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB vs MI

The Bangalore team currently is lying on the sixth spot in the IPL points table. They have won only three matches out of their nine matches and even one loss in any of the next matches can knock them out.

After a win against Mumbai Indians, RCB were on the top and then they faced Chennai at Pune. CSK stopped RCB for a very low total and with help of another Dhoni special, they managed to chase it with ease robbing RCB of any advantage.

With De Kock leaving RCB had to bring in Parthiv Patel, who became the top-scorer in the match against Chennai. Murugan Ashwin replaced Washington Sundar and Manan Vohra was dropped too. RCB might want to try Manan Vohra at the top which will again lead to at least two changes.

Playing XI

Parthiv Patel (wk), Brendon McCullum/Manan Vohra, AB de Villiers, Tim Southee, Virat Kohli (c), Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Colin de Grandhomme/Pawan Negi, Murugan Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj

Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH has been extremely strong in this season. Their bowling core with Siddarth Kaul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma and Rashid Khan has stood tall against most batting line-up and are winning the matches for the team.

Their last match against Delhi Daredevils was a hard-fought affair. SRH managed to pull back DD after a wonderful start and kept them down to a moderate total. With a blast from Hales at the start, SRH just managed to win the match with another cameo from Yusuf Pathan.

In the last match, Bhuvneshwar Kumar returned in the playing XI in the place of Basil Thampi. No changes are expected in the line-up unless any injury springs up.

Playing XI

Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Siddarth Kaul, Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson (c), Alex Hales, Sandeep Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan
