KKR’s opening worries

The last season for Kolkata Knight Riders was set on fire by their opening combination, Sunil Narine, and Chris Lynn. Both were explosive and complemented each other extremely well. They even set the record of most runs in the powerplay in IPL history when they smacked 105 runs in the first six overs.

This season though KKR has not regularly stuck with the Lynn-Narine combo. They have opted for Robin Uthappa also. In the last match, they sent Shubman Gill at the top. The experiment failed badly. Unless they go back to #Lynnarine, the opening seems doomed.
