Shubman Gill (KKR)

KKR’s young genius from Punjab is looked upon as the next Indian batting stalwart. Shubman Gill was the man of the man of the tournament in India’s Under-19 World Cup victory a few months back. In the last games against CSK, Shubman Gill was promoted up the order and he undoubtedly ended up as the man who impressed each and everyone with his unbeaten knock, sealing the chase for his team. Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the fifth over, he ended up scoring his maiden IPL half-century, 57* (36), with the help of six fours and two sixes. However, he failed to perform in the last game against MI after opening the innings for them.
