Kolkata Knight Riders who faced a major setback with two huge consecutive losses to Mumbai Indians in last week will now be facing another tough challenge. They will now visit the Holkar Stadium, Indore to take on Kings XI Punjab who after a loss to Rajasthan Royals will be eager to get back on the winning ways. Both teams can not afford a loss at this moment.

Here are how probable XI look like

Kolkata Knight Riders –

KKR had no clue about how to defeat Mumbai Indians and have gone on to lose eight consecutive matches against the franchise. Their confidence must have been severely dented by the mega loss of 102 runs the last time. They will now be facing Punjab at their home.

Kolkata Knight Riders

In the disappointing performances against Mumbai, there were hardly any positive to take from. Their bowling took a beating at the hands of Ishan Kishan and the batting was blown by Hardik Pandya. Kolkata will have to reset themselves and forget the losses.

In the last match, KKR missed Shubhman Gill and brought in Rinku Singh. They also did their alternate replacement between Tom Curran and Mitchell Johnson.

Playing XI –

Dinesh Karthik (c & wk), Piyush Chawla, Robin Uthappa, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Chris Lynn, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Rana, Tom Curran, Prasidh Krishna, Rinku Singh/Shubhman Gill

Kings XI Punjab

As Punjab takes the field the eyes will again be on the Universe Boss Chris Gayle. He failed to get going against Rajasthan Royals as K Gowtham got him stumped early. KL Rahul has batted brilliantly in both the last matches and has remained not out.

Kings XI Punjab

In the last match against Rajasthan KXIP managed to bowl well in the end overs and halted Rajasthan for a smallish score. Their batting lost wheels and it was only Rahul who stood strong. In the last match, they had brought in Akshdeep Nath and Mohit Sharma in place of Mayank Agarwal and Ankit Rajpoot. Mohit Sharma is likely to be dropped again.

Playing XI –

Chris Gayle, Manoj Tiwary, Ravichandran Ashwin (c), Mohit Sharma/Ankit Rajpoot, Karun Nair, Akshdeep Nath, Lokesh Rahul (wk), Axar Patel, Marcus Stoinis, Andrew Tye, Mujeeb Ur Rahman
