5. Chris Gayle (KXIP)
The maverick West Indian batsman has changed the course of the IPL over the years. The big-hitting batsman is responsible for raking up the highest score in T20 cricket and has the most runs in the format as well. In this season also Chris Gayle has taken the distinction of the first century and has struck four consecutive 50+ scores.
With one week rest, Gayle was back in the action against Mumbai Indians. He scored a fifty at the Holkar Stadium, but it was quite slow. Even in the last game, he scored 8 off 11 balls which were pretty low by his standards and now he will raring to perform in Mumbai now.
