Superb RCB batting

AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali both scored half-centuries

RCB batsmen dominated on the SRH bowlers. At first, AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali set that innings with a solid century partnership and then Colin de Grandhomme and Sarfaraz Khan played some important quick-fire knocks.

While the hosts’ openers (Parthiv Patel and Virat Kohli) departed early, AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali put an important 107-run partnership for the third wicket. Both the batsmen completed their half-centuries as AB de Villiers scored 69 runs off 39 balls (12 fours and only six) and Moeen Ali scored 65 runs off just 34 balls (2 fours and 6 sixes).

Later, Grandhomme scored 40 runs off just 17 balls (one four and 4 sixes) while Sarfaraz Khan was not out on 22 runs off just 8 balls (3 fours and only six) after coming to bat at very late. Their important fast knocks helped the team to put a huge total on the board.
