With the league round approaching its end, both the teams will be playing their last match of the season. This will be a knock-out match between two teams for the playoff spot. Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have won three matches in a row, will be confident to take on the hosts Rajasthan Royals. The Jaipur team has been weakened by the departure of their match-winner Jos Buttler and their most expensive buy Ben Stokes. With loser bowling out, this match will be extremely intense. Here are how the probable XI shape up
Royal Challengers Bangalore
After many dismal performances, RCB has made a spirited comeback and are looking towards sealing the playoff seat when it once was miles away.
In the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, RCB managed to upset the table-toppers and issued a warning to all others. ABD and Moeen Ali were lethal on the SRH bowling and bowlers just managed to contain SRH to save the match.
Playing XI –
Parthiv Patel (wk), AB de Villiers, Tim Southee, Virat Kohli (c), Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Moeen Ali, Yuzvendra Chahal, Colin de Grandhomme, Sarfaraz Khan, Mohammed Siraj
Rajasthan Royals
After staring down the barrel for quite a time, the wins against Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians boosted the Rajasthan Royals team. The match against Kolkata Knight Riders brought them back to the Earth though.
In the last match, Jos Buttler scored just 39 and apart from him, no one was really able to guide the team. RR fell apart after his departure. RR tried containing KKR early but once Kolkata was set loose they managed a comfortable victory.
Probable XI-
Ajinkya Rahane (c), Stuart Binny, Anureet Singh, D’Arcy Short/Heinrich Klaasen, Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Laughlin, Sanju Samson, Ish Sodhi, Krishnappa Gowtham, Rahul Tripathi, Jofra Archer
