Table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad will face the challenge of the Kolkata Knight Riders team as they take on their neighbors at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Although SRH has qualified for playoffs, they will be itching to have a win under their belt after the embarrassing loss against Chennai Super Kings in the last match.  KKR has to win to keep the playoffs qualification in their own hands. Here are how the probable XI shape up

Kolkata Knight Riders –

KKR have a great chance now to seal their place in the playoffs but they face the toughest challenge to achieve the feat. KKR is up against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their own den with a place in the last four to win.

In the last match against Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata team was very clinical. Kuldeep Yadav recorded his best figures of the season with a match-winning spell of 4/20. Chris Lynn led the chase calmly and Dinesh Karthik made sure a quick completion of the target.

Piyush Chawla missed out in the last match due to injury and he was replaced by Shivam Mavi who impressed again with his pace. If Chawla gets fit, one of Krishna or Mavi will have to sit out. Likely candidate to go out is Mavi.

SRH are confirmed in the playoffs, even they will be ending up in the top two regardless of the result. Still, this match will be an important one for the Hyderabadi team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The team that was winning every match comfortably has gone on to lose three consecutive matches. Their last match was against RCB where they lost chasing a mammoth total. The good part was that they came really close to the target with Williamson in super form. Also, Pandey’s return to form will make them happy.

In the last match, SRH rested Bhuvneshwar Kumar and included Thampi. He recorded worst IPL bowling figures. Kumar is likely to come back.
