The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has reached its final super weekend and the second game this Saturday will be played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in Delhi. It will be a virtual do-or-die game for MI as a loss here will rule them out of the IPL 2018 as they are having six wins under their belt after first 13 matches. Both the teams had a similar journey so far as DD is out of the contention to qualify for the playoffs and standing at the bottom-most position at the table, while MI is at the fifth in the IPL 2018 points table.
The last time these two locked horns with each other, DD had defeated MI comfortably in a high-scoring encounter. However, there is no doubt about the fact that both the teams do have some surprise packages in their respective squads who can single-handedly take the game away from any opposition. Let us have a look at such players from both the teams:
Jasprit Bumrah (MI)
On the first ball of the over, Aaron Finch skied a delivery which was taken brilliantly by Hardik Pandya, who came running in from deep mid-wicket. A set batsman in Finch getting out in that situation had opened the match for the hosts. On the penultimate delivery of the over, Marcus Stoinis was seen unanswered against a ferocious Bumrah bouncer which hit the glove of the batsman before landing into the hands of Ishan Kishan behind the wickets. Delhi will have to deal with Bumrah’s menace.
