The hosts  Delhi Daredevils might be out of the race for playoffs but they will have great chance to be a party spoiler for Mumbai Indians. The defending Champions of the IPL 2018 are in a do-or-die match against Delhi Daredevils as a loss will put them out of the top-four. DD team is full of young blood and with a win over CSK yesterday they have shown that they can not be taken lightly. Here are how the probable playing XI shape up –

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians defeated the Kings XI Punjab in style and kept the hopes of making it to the playoffs alive.  Playing at the Wankhede Stadium, MI boosted by Pollard’s batting performance cramped KXIP in the second innings to win by 3 runs.

Surya Kumar Yadav again gave a good start to the innings. This time Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard made sure that MI got a good score. While chasing it was Jasprit Bumrah who choked KXIP in the death overs.

In the last match, MI dropped JP Duminy due to lack of opportunities he received and brought in Pollard who played really well. They are likely to continue with the same playing XI.

Delhi Daredevils:

The young team under Shreyas Iyer has not won many matches but it is winning hearts. Prithvi Shaw at the top, Pant and Iyer in the middle order have been excellent with the bat and have put up a stellar show consistently. Rishabh Pant’s batting has been fabulous throughout.

In the last match of Delhi, they managed to pull off a great upset as they defeated Chennai Super Kings comfortably. It was Harshal Patel who smacked three sixes in the last over to get DD past a good total. CSK batting faced a rare failure and they ended up losing by runs.

Delhi made two changes in the last match. This being the last match, they are chances that Delhi can make changes to the playing XI to get others opportunity. Avesh Khan may get dropped.
