On Friday, the eighth match of the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between the two teams out of which one had a comprehensive win while the other team lost the games by a whisker, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). While KXIP registered a one-sided win against Delhi Daredevils (DD), RCB lost a close match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). 1. Virat Kohli (RCB)
In the curtain-raiser of RCB against KKR, it was the partnership between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers which steadied the ship for them after early dismissals. However, in that knock, Kohli wasn’t looking comfortable but despite that, he will still hold the key for RCB’s batting line-up as he is one of the best T20 batsmen of the current era. Over the years, he has been the crucial batsman for RCB as he almost scored 1000 runs in IPL 2016.
