Mumbai Indians return to their blue fort as the Wankhede Stadium gears up to host another heart-stopping encounter. The first match after the opening ceremony against the Chennai Super Kings was a spectacular match where the winner was not decided until the very end. Delhi Daredevils meanwhile have lost both their matches which were away fixtures.

Bumrah and Rohit Sharma celebrate a wicket.

With both the teams still very much hunting for their maiden win of the IPL 2018, we are set for another showdown between two wonderful teams. Here are the five things to look forward to.

1.Mumbai Indians’ heart-stopping streak –

The blue team has participated in two thrilling matches which were not decided till the very last ball. In the first match, Chennai Super Kings narrowly escaped the loss with Dwayne Bravo and Kedar Jadhav putting on a stunning display. The heroic effort dismayed Mumbai.

In the match against SRH, Mumbai looked down and out as Hyderabad needed only 12 for 15 balls with 5 wickets in hand. Bumrah and Mustafizur each picked two wickets in their overs to bring Mumbai back in the game. Ben Cutting could not keep Hooda and Stanlake down to produce another thriller.

Can Mumbai make it three in three remains to be seen?

2.Rohit’s form –

Rohit Sharma fell cheaply against CSK.

Before the IPL began, Rohit Sharma was expected to bat in the middle order with Lewis and Kishan opening. However, Mumbai Indian think tank decided differently and opened with Rohit Sharma. One of India’s best opening batsman in the white-ball cricket has not yet delivered for the team.

In the first match against CSK, he was struggling to time the ball. In the 18 balls that he faced, he scored one four and one six scoring only 15 runs. Doing slightly better than the first try, Rohit scored 11 runs from 10 balls against Hyderabad. He was dismissed by Stanlake.
