It was the 12th game in IPL 2018 which was played between the hosts KXIP and the visitors CSK at Mohali. After winning the toss, CSK decided to bat first. In this match, Chris Gayle played his first game in IPL 2018 where he played a stormy knock 63 runs off just 33 balls. Also, the other home batsmen contributed some important runs which helped the team to put a total of 197/7 in 20 overs.

In reply, CSK tried hard to chase down the target till the end but failed just 4-run short (193/5 in 20 overs) from KXIP’s total. CSK skipper MS Dhoni once again showed his awesome finishing skill as he was not out on 79 runs off 44 balls, but this time he just failed to secure the victory for his team.

While it was the ultimately great day for KXIP, there was a promotional event organised by the home franchise where the co-owner Preity Zinta was present. It was the distribution of KXIP jerseys to the fans, where Preity was not looking happy for few moments. However, it is still not confirmed about the reason of her that reaction but it seemed like she was unhappy with one or few spectators.

Here is that video:

It was KXIP’s third game of IPL 2018 where they have won twice and lost once. It was their second home game in this season and also the second home victory in this season too. Exact one week earlier (on April 8, 2018), KXIP had played against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Mohali where they had claimed a comfortable victory by 6 wickets with 7 balls to spare.

KXIP has a good start in this season and the team is hoping to continue their form for the further periods to fulfill their dreams to win their maiden IPL trophy. And to make that dream true, KXIP need a continue fans support till the end of this season.
