During the 55th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Delhi, Delhi Daredevils’ Sandeep Lamichhane got the early wicket of Suryakumar Yadav to put Mumbai Indians on the back foot in the chase.

After Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat, Delhi Daredevils scored 164-4 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. After losing their openers cheaply in the powerplay, Rishabh Pant stood tall to score his eighth IPL half-century, rescuing his team from a spot of bother.

In the second innings, Sandeep Lamichhane opened the bowling for the Daredevils against Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis.

Lamichhane started by bowling a half-tracker to Yadav, who quickly went on his back foot to hit a pull through the mid-wicket region. The bowler did not improve on his line or length on the following delivery as Yadav pulled the ball with disdain for a six this time round. Watch the video:

On the fourth ball of the over, against the run of play, Lamichhane’s googly carried the leading edge of Yadav’s bat as the ball went in the air to Vijay Shankar at mid-on. Watch the video:
