During the 25th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Hyderabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Shakib Al Hasan took a revenge on Aaron Finch to bring his team back in the match.
After Ravichandran Ashwin put the home team in to bat, Punjab restricted Hyderabad to 132-6 in 20 overs. Manish Pandey, who came in to bat at No. 4 in the third over, top-scored with 54 (51). His innings comprised of three fours and a six. Ankit Rajpoot, who took the new ball for the Kings XI, registered his maiden IPL five-wicket haul, 4-0-14-5.
Aaron Finch, who came in to bat at No. 5 in the 13th over, hit his first six on the first delivery of the 15th over when Shakib Al Hasan bowled a flighted delivery, which was dispatched by Finch over long on.
On the following delivery, Finch tried to repeat his shot but ended up hitting the ball straight to Manoj Tiwary at long on. He ended up scoring 8 (4) with the help of one six.
