During the final match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Mumbai, Chennai Super Kings’ Shane Watson and Suresh Raina welcomed Shakib Al Hasan into the attack by scoring 15 runs in his first over.
After Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and put Sunrisers Hyderabad in to bat, they ended up scoring 178-6 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. In which was a complete batting unit, several Sunrisers’ batsmen were seen playing fruitful knocks.
In the second innings, Chennai Super Kings recovered from a super slow start to a position from where they should seal the chase without much discomfort. Shakib Al Hasan was introduced into the attack in the 11th over of the innings.
On the first delivery of the over, Shakib Al Hasan bowled a half-tracker down the leg-side. Watson sat down on one knee to pull the ball powerfully over the deep square leg fielder. Watch the video:
