During the 32nd match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Delhi, Rajasthan Royals’ Shreyas Gopal bowled a bittersweet where he was seen going for a couple of sixes and dismissing an opposition batsman.

Ajinkya Rahane, captain of Rajasthan Royals, had won the toss and chose to field. Rajasthan had included D’Arcy Short and Shreyas Gopal into their playing eleven in place of Mahipal Lomror and Ish Sodhi. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils made a solitary change, bringing back Shahbaz Nadeem in place of Rahul Tewatia.

Delhi Daredevils recovered well from the downfall of Colin Munro (0) in the first over. Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer rebuilt the innings without wasting much time.

Shreyas Gopal, who was introduced into the attack right after the powerplay got over, was welcomed in his second over by Shaw by hitting a soaring six over the off-side. Gopal took a revenge after he dismissed Shaw on the following ball. In which more of a soft dismissal, Shaw ended up tamely hitting the ball back to the bowler. He ended up scoring 47 (25) with the help of four fours and four sixes.

Rishabh Pant replaced Shaw in the middle. Facing his fourth ball, the last of Gopal’s over, Pant hit the leg-spinner for an impressive six over the long on fielder. Watch the full video:
