IPL 2018: Siddarth Kaul Reveals What Is Helping Him Improve His Bowling This Season

IPL 2018 is not halfway through yet has given the crowd a lot of thrilling and jaw-dropping performances till date. Some expected and some unexpected. Each year, Ipl has given the limelight to few players who have always grabbed the eyeball of the crowd. Siddarth Kaul is not a new name in the franchise but has been always a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Previous years he had made a moderate performance but this year the bowler seems on a different level.

SRH is the only team currently in the league to have won all the matches to date. Missing out on David Warner due to ball tampering issue before the start, SRH started out strong led by Kane Williamson. SRH has always been a  team excelled by great bowling attacks. This year too the presence of Shakib al Hassan, Bhuvneswar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul and Billy Stanlake uplifted the teams boost.

When Kaul was asked about his current bowling improvements, he said that he has always focused on his basics and tried to improve his flaws. He says his dedication and positive frame of mind to helps him a lot in his game. He also said that he is presently working on his variations and Knuckleballs and his teammates do consent that he has improved.

“I am developing pace with variation. My teammates are telling me that my pace has improved. I am also bringing improvements in my knuckleball and trying to perfect it,” Kaul said to India Today.

When asked the bowler revealed that Bhuvneswar Kumar helps him a lot in nets and he shares a great bond with the star pacer both on and off the field.

Kaul is currently in meditation too. He says that improves his focus and dedication. Williamson led SRH looks great at the top of the table and yet to face any defeat in the ongoing season.
