On Wednesday, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be locking horns with the Mumbai Indians (MI) for the second time in the last three days. While they are currently at the fourth and the fifth position respectively, both the teams can’t afford to lose this game as a lot of pressure will mount on them to qualify for the playoffs. Unfortunately, Mumbai has been at their best against KKR over the last 3 years as they’ve failed to register a victory over them. However, the co-owner of the team Shah Rukh Khan is set to visit the Eden Gardens and cheer his team in the crucial encounter.

Dinesh Karthik and his men will have to put up their ‘A’ game against the defending champions who have won their last couple of matches. It is a must-win game for the visitors and a loss would virtually end their quest for the title defense. Though KKR won’t be eliminated after a loss in today’s game, they will lose their fourth position to Mumbai and then will have to win all their remaining 3 matches to qualify for the playoffs.

Let today’s cheer be the loudest for KKR.”
