IPL 2018: Sunil Narine takes his revenge

During the 37th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Mumbai, Kolkata Knight Riders’ Sunil Narine took his revenge on Krunal Pandya, dismissing him after he hit him for a six.

Dinesh Karthik, captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, won the toss and chose to field. The Knight Riders included Nitish Rana and Prasidh Krishna into the playing eleven in place of Rinku Singh and Shivam Mavi. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians fielded an unchanged playing eleven.

Narine dismissed Krunal Pandya.

Mumbai Indians got off to a swift start after Suryakumar Yadav and Evin Lewis enjoyed a decent powerplay. Near to the halfway mark, Mumbai Indians started losing wickets to the extent at a time it appeared that they wasted a sound start.

On the fourth delivery of the 17th over, Krunal Pandya picked Sunil Narine’s length early to hit him for a towering six over long on. On the next delivery, his attempt to play a replica of the previous shot saw him hitting the ball straight to Shubman Gill at long on.
