During the 36th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Hyderabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Rashid Khan continued with his amazing form in this season as he picked up a wicket and gave a paltry two runs in the 17th over of the innings to dent back the opposition.

Shreyas Iyer, captain of Delhi Daredevils, had won the toss and chose to bat. Delhi Daredevils had included Naman Ojha and Daniel Christian into their playing eleven in place of Colin Munro and Shahbaz Nadeem. In something which came as a relief for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar made his way back in the team in place of Basil Thampi.

Naman Ojha wasn’t even in the frame.

Despite losing Glenn Maxwell in the second over, Delhi Daredevils scored 60-1 in their powerplay. Prithvi Shaw had dictated terms in the most part of their innings. However, post his dismissal, things didn’t remain the same. Apart from the decrease in the run rate, what further affected the Daredevils was double blow which happened during the fag end of the innings.

On the first delivery of the 17th over, which was Rashid Khan’s fourth over, Naman Ojha played a wrong’un towards the non-striker. What followed was utter convolution which led to Ojha taking the long walk back on 1. Watch the video:

On the penultimate delivery of the same over, Rashid Khan found Rishabh Pant wanting in front of the stumps to the extent that even a review couldn’t save the batsman. Pant ended up scoring 18 (19) with the help of one four. Watch the video:
