  1. Lungi Ngidi (Chennai Super Kings)

Though the 22-year-old South African pacer didn’t play many games in this season as he had to return to his home after his father’s demise, he put an important impact for CSK to win the trophy. He was very consistent on his line and length and became a major bowler for the team when his fellow bowlers were struggling.

With some consistent impressive bowling performances, Ngidi took total 11 wickets in 7 matches with just 14.18 bowling averages and exact 6 economy rates. He took at least one wicket in every game and his best performance was 4/10 against Kings XI Punjab at Pune on May 20.
