The 31-year-old Australian pacer impressed with the ball widely. As the highest wicket-taker in this season, the right-arm pacer took total 24 wickets with the 18.66 averages and also had 8.00 economy rates. Tye’s best performance was 4/16 against Mumbai Indians at Mumbai.

He was very consistent on his line and length and took three times four-wicket hauls in this season. He fought very hard for his team, but he failed to get proper support from the other fellow bowlers.
