The fourth week of the IPL 2018 was all about teams at the bottom of the table trying to keep themselves alive against the toppers. Thus many captains were stretched to think about the team combinations and strategies. In fact, in few such encounters, the bottom teams managed to defeat the toppers with ease. The trend of the matches in this week of the IPL was a high-scoring one. Kings XI Punjab did not play even a single match in this week. Here are the five best moments from the Week

Shreyas Iyer smashes 29 runs in the last over, Match 26, DD vs KKR

Shreyas Iyer Delhi Daredevils’ captain, hammered 29 runs off the last over of the innings bowled by Shivam Mavi. It was the most expensive last over in this season of the IPL.

Iyer, who is captaining an IPL side for the first time in his career, didn’t let the promotion have an adverse effect on his batting as he registered his ninth IPL half-century. In the last over, Iyer’s heroics have put his team in a formidable position.

Mavi, who was bowling his final over, was welcomed with a six over extra cover on the first ball itself. Mavi bowled around the wicket on the next delivery but ended up being hit for another six over the long-on region. On the fourth delivery of the over, Iyer hit a short-pitch delivery for a six over deep midwicket.

On the penultimate ball, Iyer thwacked a four down the ground, on the right side of the long off fielder. Iyer finished the innings with another towering six over the long off fielder. He ended up scoring 93* (40) with the help of three fours and 10 sixes.
