During the fourth match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at Hyderabad, Wriddhiman Saha ran out Jaydev Unadkat as Rajasthan Royals came to dust after being put in to bat by Kane Williamson.

After scoring 48-1 in the powerplay, Royals’ batting line-up slipped like pack of cards to the extent that no momentum whatsoever was generated for anyone to have a go at the opposition bowlers.

After the mainstream batsmen had failed to make a significant impact, the onus was on the lower order batsmen. That being said, even they couldn’t improve the fortunes of their team for it was perhaps too late for any sort of recovery.

Saha was effective behind the wickets.

On the second delivery of the last over, Unadkat had hit a Siddarth Kaul delivery to the third-man area. In which was nothing less than a suicidal run, Unadkat came back for a second run. Yusuf Pathan, who was fielding at third man, put in a decent effort and threw the ball back to the wicket-keeper Saha, who collected the ball and dislodged all the three stumps from the ground.

Unadkat was not even in the frame, as a result of which, he had to take the long walk back to the pavilion as Royals lost their ninth wicket. He ended up scoring 1 (2). In their allotted quota of 20 overs, Rajasthan Royals scored 125-9. Sanju Samson, who came in to bat at No. 3, top-scored with 49 (42). His innings comprised of five fours. With bowling figures of 4-0-17-2, Kaul was the pick of the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers.
