IPL 2018: Zainab Abbas Faces Heat For Praising MS Dhoni

It was the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni ferocious batting display at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. He was at his brutal best against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He also got an apt support from his partner Ambati Rayudu who was taking the calculated risks while Dhoni was tearing the RCB bowlers apart, which he used to do in the past.

Rayudu left Dhoni midway when Umesh Yadav’s bulls-eye throw hit the stumps only to find the batsman short. However, MS Dhoni didn’t leave any stone unturned to finish the game, he had missed one chance against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), it was not happening here at the Chinnaswamy. A massive 2011-Wankhede-like-six to win the match made his fans berserk. The best finisher in the world proved announced himself yet again, that he still got everything it needs to finish the game, or maybe sink the opposition.

Mahi had won the Southern derby of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The fans on social media were going berserk. Fans across the world had nothing but praise for the former India skipper. Pakistan Super League (PSL) anchor Zainab Abbas too was hoping for MS Dhoni to finish the match in style. She took to Twitter where she suggested that Dhoni has an opportunity to prove his mettle one more time when he hit one of the first sixes during his blistering knock.

The India-Pakistan rivalry is not a new thing for the cricket fans. The political tension between the two nations has kept them at the bay for a long time. When MS Dhoni hit the winnings six, Zainab Abbas couldn’t stop but post another tweet stating MS has done it again.

However, the Tweet of Abbas didn’t go down well with the Pakistani fans who reminded Zainab of the fact that BCCI doesn’t invite the Pakistani players for the IPL and that India is trying to isolate Pakistan in every field.
