8. Shivam Dube (INR 5 crore) – Royal Challengers Bangalore
The three-time IPL runner-up Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bought the uncapped 25-year-old Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dube for INR 5 crore while he had the base price of INR 20 lakh.
Recently, the legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar praised Dube and predicted that the IPL franchises would eagerly target at him. The legendary Indian batsman felt that he is one of the top powerful left-handed batsmen since Sourav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh.
Apart from being a strong left-handed batsman, who hit five sixes in an over twice in this year, Dube is also a handy right-arm medium bowler. Playing 13 T20s, Dube has scored 189 runs (average 23.62) with the impressive strike-rate of 147.65 and also has picked up 10 wickets (average 26.30).
