2. Jaydev Unadkat (INR 8.40 crore) – Rajasthan Royals

The Indian left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat was the second most expensive cricketer during the IPL 2018 Auction when Rajasthan Royals (RR) had bought him for INR 11.50 crore (highest was Ben Stokes by Rajasthan Royals for INR 12.50 crore). However, this time, he became the joint most expensive cricketer in the IPL 2019 Auction when his last franchise team Rajasthan Royals bought him again for INR 8.40 crore.

The 27-year-old left-arm pacer has already played 18 international matches for the national team and featured in every format. Playing the IPL from 2010, Unadkat has played 62 IPL matches where he has taken 67 wickets with the average of 26.77. In IPL 2017, Unadkat finished as the second most wicket-taker after picking up 24 wickets in 12 matches (average 13.41) for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS).

However, in IPL 2018, Unadkat had a low performance as he picked up 11 wickets in 15 matches (average 44.18).
