Jofra Archer (RR) 4 wickets
The last few weeks, Jofra Archer has evolved as a cricketer and adapt to different roles. He was exceptional against KXIP where he picked up three wickets to break the line-up and put the opposition under severe pressure. In the next game against MI, he got just one wicket, but it was a crucial one of Hardik Pandya.
Rahul Chahar (MI) 6 wickets
Rahul Chahar had a memorable outing in the fourth week for Mumbai. Against DC, he picked up the prized wickets of Shikhar Dhawan, and Shreyas Iyer along with Prithvi Shaw as well. The leg-spinner followed up this exceptional performance with a great outing against RR as well. He was the only bowler from his team who picked up wickets in that match for his team. He tried to get his team back into the game but it was too late by then as Steve Smith and Riyan Parag almost took the team over the line.
Lasith Malinga (MI) 5 wickets
Lasith Malinga has been enjoying some great outings in the last few days. In the game against RCB, he picked up four wickets. He got prized wickets of Marcus Stoinis and Moeen Ali. However, he has been a bit expensive this week as he gave away runs at an average of 8.5. Thus, he finds a spot in the Best XI.
Khaleel Ahmed (SRH) 4 wickets
Khaleel Ahmed got to play in IPL 2019 quite late, but he has been successful in making an impact so far. He got the dangerous wickets of Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn in the game against Kolkata. He picked up 6 wickets in 2 matches and returned with the best figures ever in the IPL as he finished the game with 3/33.
