The final of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was 2019 final which ended in the Mumbai Indians (MI) winning the trophy. The game was quite similar to the final of the 2017 season which also took place at the same venue, which was also won by 1 run. They clinched their fourth title under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

It was one of the most memorable IPL finals which took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday. However, it was a forgettable season for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as they finished the tournament at the bottom of the table with just 11 points, but they were also just a point away from Sunrisers Hyderabad, who finished fourth with 12 points. This definitely will go down as the closest IPL there has ever been.

After the final, there were celebrations on the Mumbai side and on the other hand, the Chennai-based franchise the Chennai Super Kings were finding it difficult to digest the margin of defeat, which is a little too narrow to tolerate. However, let us churn out the best-combined XI of this tournament.:

#1 David Warner – SRH

David Warner has become the first player in IPL history to win three Orange Caps and he continued the performance in this season as well. He joined Sunsiers Hyderabad in 014 and ever since he has amassed at least 500 runs in every season he appeared since then. However, in this season, he was making a comeback after a year-long suspension and he amassed as many as 692 runs in just 12 innings, with 8 half-centuries and a century against the RCB.
