The league stages are now over and we are over to the big eliminator match of IPL 2019 between the Delhi Daredevils (DC) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The teams finished third and fourth places respectively on the table. This would be the third time both these teams would be facing each other, having shared the winning honors one time each this season.

It is a do-or-die encounter as the winner progresses to play the second qualifier, while the loser goes home. While Sunrisers entered the playoffs at the very last minute thanks to Mumbai Indians knocking out the Kolkata Knight Riders, it was the Delhi Capitals who had booked their place well in advance.
