The two losing teams Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were locking horns with each other at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and the hosts finally found a win. After winning the toss, the RR skipper, Ajinkya Rahane asked the visiting team to bat first. For RCB, the skipper Virat Kohli came out to bat with Parthiv Patel. Rajasthan won the game by one run.
During the toss, Kohli revealed that they have made three changes in the squad as Shivam Dube, Prayas Ray Barman, and Colin de Grandhomme, made way for Akshdeep Nath, Navdeep Saini, and Marcus Stoinis. On the other hand, RR also made a couple of changes as injured Sanju Samson and Jaydev Unadakat made way for Stuart Binny and Varun Aaron.

RCB had a great start to their innings as they scored 48/0 after the powerplay overs. However, soon after that, they lost the plot as they lost two crucial wickets of Kohli and AB de Villiers in alternate overs. He even got the wicket of Shimron Hetmyer as well in the next over.
On the third ball of the 7th over bowled by Shreyas Gopal. Kohli got clean bowled as he missed the googly as the ball was tossed up and wider, and Kohli reaches out for the cover drive, which left a huge gap for the ball to spin back through. In the next over of the Gopal, he got De Villiers as well. In his next over, Shreyas bowled another wrong’un which was back of a length, and again the ball gripped the surface and stayed low as well and AB’s hurried effort to jam his bat down made him punch it firmly back to the bowler, at catchable height and Gopal made no mistake.

After those dismissal’s Patel and Stoinis made a partnership but only managed to reach the total of 158/4 in their quota of 20 overs.
During the chase, Rajasthan was off to a blistering start as Buttler scored a brilliant half-century. He was well supported by Ajinkya Rahane and Steve Smith. Rajasthan’s innings were carried forward by Smith and Rahul Tripathi after Buttler’s dismissal.
The hosts chased down the total with a ball to spare and 7 wickets in hands.
