Veteran Englishman was making his Indian Premier League debut against Delhi. Denly was opening the batting in absence of Chris Lynn. But he didn’t bother to trouble the scorers. Denly was clean bowled by Ishant Sharma for a golden duck on debut.

Prithvi Shaw (DC)

Young Delhi opener Prithvi Shaw scored 99 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi but ever since that innings, he is looking badly out of form. Against the same opponent at Eden Gardens, he scored 14 runs in seven balls where he hit two sixes. Shaw shared 32 runs for the opening wicket and got out to Prasidh Krishna.

Shreyas Iyer (DC)

Delhi skipper failed to play anchor’s role in another run-chase after winning the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on last Sunday. Shreyas Iyer came to bat after Prithvi Shaw’s early departure but he was undone by Andre Russell after scoring just six runs.
