Even the head-to-head record favors Mumbai, Rajasthan were the winners in both their contests in the 2018 edition. They chased down a 160+ score at both, Wankhede and Sawai Mansingh Stadium, to get the better of them. While the Royals failed to win the eliminator against the KKR and were knocked out, Mumbai failed to make it to the playoffs finishing fifth on the table.
