Pollard was rather slow against RR

Kieron Pollard (MI)

He played a captain’s innings in the last game to take Mumbai home but couldn’t replicate on his heroics against Rajasthan Royals. Pollard came to bat after Suryakumar Yadav’s dismissal but wasn’t looking comfortable during his 12-ball stay at the crease. Pollard barely scored six runs without hitting any boundary and failed to give Mumbai a final flourish at death.

Steve Smith (RR)

Former Australian skipper is searching for his form in the ongoing Indian Premier League. Rajasthan was required Smith to stay at the crease till the last ball but he is barely able to score runs at the moment. Before Bumrah getting him out, Smith scored just 12 runs in 15 balls.

Alzarri Joseph (MI)

Young West Indian pacer started his IPL career with a bang but is looking less threatening since then. Joseph bowled just three overs against Rajasthan where he gave 53 runs without taking any wicket. Jos Buttler hammered him for 28 runs in his third over, where he gave was hit for four boundaries along with two six.
