Flops

KL Rahul had a rare failure

KL Rahul (KXIP)

The leading run-scorer for KXIP in IPL 2019 failed to score runs against Bengaluru. KL Rahul was coming back from three successive fifty-plus scores but his innings against RCB ended for 18 runs. He shared a crucial opening partnership with Chris Gayle but didn’t look comfortable during his stay at the crease. Rahul got stumped out in Yuzvendra Chahal’s first over after hitting a long six.

Mohammad Siraj (RCB)

Siraj is not bowling pretty well in IPL 2019. After conceding over 50 runs against KKR, he leaked 54 runs against Kings XI Punjab as well. Chris Gayle targeted him in his first over and looted 24 runs in it. Siraj only managed Sarfaraz Khan’s wicket during his spell of four overs while he conceded over 13 runs per over.

Mohammed Shami (KXIP)

The spearhead of Punjab’s bowling lineup had an off-day at the office. Shami wasn’t bowling at his usual best and leaked runs from his very first over. Though he took Virat Kohli’s wicket, it was too late to stop RCB from going all the way to win the game. Shami gave 43 runs in his four overs and managed just one wicket.
