Welcome to Match 35 and it’s time for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to visit the Eden Gardens to play the home side, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This will be their second meeting this year, with KKR winning the first by five wickets, courtesy an Andre Russell special of 13-ball 48 at Bengaluru. It was considered to be one of the best IPL chases ever. Both the teams have lost their previous matches. While KKR was humbled by CSK, RCB were shown the door by MI at the Wankhede.

#5 Chris Lynn

After a quiet start to the tournament, Lynn has been amongst the runs at the top of the order for KKR. He scored a 51-ball 82 against the Chennai Super Kings with the knock containing seven fours and six sixes. He had also scored a 32-ball 50 in KKR’s win over the Royals more than a week back. With him finding form just at the right time, Kolkata would be hoping him to fire right away and lay a solid foundation with the likes of Andre Russell to follow.
